Erratum

Selectionism and Neutralism in Molecular Evolution

doi:10.1093/molbev/msi242

Masatoshi Nei

Mol. Biol. Evol. 22:2318–2342. 2005

In the Appendix beginning on page 2335, "1990" on line 8 should have appeared as "1900". Also, "Formula" on line 3 of page 2336, should have appeared as "Formula" and the word "constantant" should be replaced by "constant" in the last sentence of the appendix. This last sentence should have appeared as "This assumption is unlikely to hold in reality, because any gene would interact with some other genes differently in different generations (with different environments), and therefore the maintenance of constant s would be impossible."
